Pongila Productions, founded by media veteran Pausali Sengupta, brings 18 years of diverse expertise to the film production landscape. Despite a background in science and economics, Pausali's journey started with Google India in 2006, followed by a pivotal role as Online Editor at The Statesman, where she nurtured a talented team.

Her foray into film began at Shree Venkatesh Films, paving the way for Hoichoi's success. Pausali honed her producing skills at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, graduating in 2018. Collaborating with Raj Chakraborty, she contributed to "Adventures of Jojo" and developed projects turned feature films.

Joining Star India in 2019, Pausali left an impact as a Producer with hit shows like "Shreemoyee" and "Kharkuto." In 2021, she, along with her sister Avinanda Sengupta, founded Pongila Productions, embodying innovation and excellence in cinematic storytelling.

Avinanda Sengupta, the driving force behind Pongila Productions, serves as its Creative Producer, bringing a wealth of expertise to every project. Holding a Masters in Political Science from Calcutta University and a B. Ed, Avinanda is not only a gifted dancer but also a mentor with over 7 years of teaching experience in renowned schools like Carmel Convent and Bidya Bharati Girl’s High School.

Completing her B. Mus in Kathak dance from Allahabad University, Avinanda co-founded the Abhinandan Cultural Institute (ACI) in 2007 with Pausali Sengupta, an esteemed institution affiliated with Chandigarh University. ACI, under her guidance, excelled in providing quality education in Classical Indian Dance, Music, and Arts for a decade.
 

Presently, Avinanda directs Avina Creative Arts, the successor to ACI, and plays a pivotal role as the Founder Partner Director at Pongila Productions. Her hands-on approach ensures the seamless execution of projects, with her meticulous mentoring shaping every aspect, from creatives and music to logistics.
